Level 5

Children, Young People, and Families Managers take on leadership roles in services that support the well-being and development of children and families. This apprenticeship equips professionals with the skills to manage teams, develop strategies for intervention, and ensure high-quality services are delivered across early years, social care, youth work, and family support settings. Managers in this field work collaboratively with various agencies to safeguard and promote positive outcomes for children and young people.

  • Evaluating service performance and making evidence-based improvements

  • Typically completed within 24 months, including off-the-job training
  • End-Point Assessment typically completed within 3 months following on-programme learning
  • Level 3 or 4 qualification in a relevant field or significant professional experience.
  • Apprentices without Level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking their end-point assessment.
