From 10th to 16th February 2025, Global Skills Training proudly celebrated National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) under the theme “Skills for Life”. The week was packed with inspiring activities designed to empower apprentices, engage employers, and highlight the impact of trainers.
Daily Highlights:
📅 Personal Development Monday – Kicking off with a focus on growth and learning, apprentices explored personal development resources and took part in the GST Toolkit Challenge for exciting prizes.
📅 Employer Tuesday – Employers gained insights into mentoring apprentices, supporting success, and maximising apprenticeship outcomes through workshops and surveys.
📅 Apprentices Wednesday – Apprentices shared their experiences, accessed career support, and learned about opportunities from the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network and ASK programme.
📅 Trainer Thursday – A day dedicated to celebrating trainers, featuring trainer spotlights and an opportunity to provide feedback through the Trainer Survey.
📅 Celebration Friday – The week ended on a high with a Wall of Achievement, award highlights, and a sneak peek into the 2025 Apprenticeship Awards.
A Week to Remember
NAW 2025 was a fantastic opportunity to showcase success stories, engage with key stakeholders, and celebrate the impact of apprenticeships. Apprentices, trainers, and employers came together to build a stronger future, reinforcing the power of lifelong learning.
