Global Skills at AELP 2025 National Conference

Global Skills Training had the pleasure of attending the AELP 2025 National Conference today, one of the leading events for the skills, training, and employability sector. The conference proved to be a valuable experience, offering a range of seminars, keynote sessions, and networking opportunities designed to inform, inspire, and influence positive change across the industry.

Our team participated in several informative sessions, including updates from Ofsted, which provided clarity on evolving expectations and best practices in quality assurance. A variety of breakout seminars covered key themes such as curriculum development, learner engagement, digital transformation, and staff wellbeing, each offering practical strategies that we are excited to explore and implement.

Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to connect and exchange ideas with professionals, providers, and policymakers from across the sector, strengthening our network and gaining fresh perspectives.

A standout moment was the motivational address by Dame Kelly Holmes, whose powerful insights on resilience, performance, and mental health deeply resonated with all in attendance. Her words served as a reminder of the importance of perseverance and purpose, both in education and in life.

The insights and inspiration gained at the AELP 2025 Conference will directly inform our ongoing efforts to improve our services, enhance learner outcomes, and create a supportive and effective working environment for our staff.
